Walks & Hikes
Whether you want to take a round trip around Tsangarada or challenge yourself to get to the top of the mountain, the paths of Pelion are incredible.
We reccommend AllTrails or TopoGuide Greece to search for your ideal hike!
Food & Local Delicacies
Try to taste as many of the local delicacies and preserves, there are a lot!
Chestnuts, sour cherries and berries, made into marmelades or syrup sweets.
With so much natural wealth, the cuisine adapted accordingly with delicious mezedes and local dishes.

We reccommend Deipnosofistis or Aggelika Fish Tavern for a nice meal. For a sweet or savoury snack check out the cafe at Agia Paraskevi under the 1000 year old plane tree!
Beaches
Tsangarada is located above some astonishing beaches, namely Fakistra and Milopotamos. From the home you can easily reach Papa Nero, Ag. Ioannis, or Plaka.
For a venture further try Ag. Saranta or a day trip to Trikeri for some nice lobster pasta.
Kayaking
Ntamouchari hosts Shakayak. Pelion by kayak is truly remarkable and definitely recommended!
Nature & Wildlife
For the nature lovers, the area offers much room for connection and observation of the local flora and fauna.

You may be lucky and spot a fox or one of the many rodent species that roam in the night. Boar are also native, but tend to hide well in the summer.
Snow Sports
In the winter months, one can find the Pelion ski resort in Chania, about an hours drive from the home.
